I listened to and considered all of the feedback regarding stretch goals. Know that my number one goal is to provide a project that is on time and as promised. I believe that for the majority of the stretch goals, the promised delivery time is more than achievable. The only exception might be color illustrations, but even then, I have given myself plenty of time.

Below you can read the full text of stretch goals that I have added to the project. I will absolutely need your help if we are going to reach them all. Would you help me swing for the fences?

I strongly believe in producing a project that is on time and as promised.  However, I absolutely believe that backers make a project successful and want to reward that. Therefore, to provide a balance between these two, stretch goals will start if we double our funding. Why double? The initial goal was the minimum needed to make this project viable. Additional funds mean I get to improve its quality without worry. Perhaps more importantly, it allows me freedom to work on the next project.

I promise it is REALLY REALLY cool.

$4,000 - Fully funded! — UNLOCKED

$8,000 - Boss Monster!

There will be many tough monsters in this zine, but at this level, I will create a boss monster with enough content to fill a two-page spread.

$9,000 - SECOND Boss Monster!

I will create a SECOND boss monster with enough content to fill another two pages.

$10,000 - Full-page Cover Illustration!

Up until this point, MACE will have a minimalistic cover with an awesome logo. However, if we reach this level of funding, I will create a full-page cover illustration, sourced from your ideas. Have you seen my cover illustrations?

$15,000 - Color Illustrations & Digital Goodies

Color is important to a lot of people, some of you included. This is a pretty high milestone, but we are going to have a LOT of art, so it's going to be a lot of work. However, if you help me get here, I will provide 3 things:

•  Color artwork for commercial use, including the cover.
• A variant PDF in full color and an at-cost POD option for it.
• Digital tokens for print or online play.

$20,000 - Wraparound cover illustration in color!

I like to swing for the fences and this is it. If we get to this milestone, the zine will look its absolutely best. If we manage to get to this level, I will provide the following:

• A full wrap-around cover illustration, in color, sourced from your ideas.
• A physical print of the finished cover. A digital version for PDF backers.

In only five days, M.A.C.E. has reached FULL FUNDING!

Honestly, this has been unexpected. This is the quickest any of my projects has ever succeeded in reaching this point. I am grateful to each of you for believing in me and this zine. Thank you.

How about some stretch goals?

To be honest, I am hesitant. I prefer to under-promise and over-deliver than load the project with more work. I would also prefer that the success of this Kickstarter propel the next project. However, the idea of stretch goals has not been entirely abandoned. I will tread cautiously and any stretch goals will be spaced to allow the above considerations room for success.

More monsters? We're already planning to load this zine. One monster per page means over 50 pages. Adding much more would push us beyond a zine at this point.

Color artwork? I am already creating at least 40 brand new illustrations. Adding color would double the work load, so if I am to entertain this stretch goal, it would be set rather high. Would color images excite you enough to push us to that goal?

Exclusive content? I would not be against this at all but would love your ideas. A Kickstarter-exclusive cover is the first thing that comes to mind, but would that be enough to generate excitement?

What are your thoughts and ideas? Specifically — What type of stretch goals would excite you enough to go a bit above and beyond to promote this project without overloading its current scope?

First, simply THANK YOU.

Many of you are new backers. Welcome aboard. Whether you are a returning backer or brand new to my products, I appreciate all of you being here. You enable me to keep producing RPG content.

We have a new pledge level.

The Heracles, Hacked is by request and is primarily for international backers, but is open to anybody. It offers access to the stock illustrations and a digital copy of the zine.

The commercial license has expanded.

In addition to a license to use the artwork for personal and commercial products, I am including rights to the written content. You can now just drop my monsters into your RPG world with very little effort. Written content must be added to a product, not presented with another collection of monsters.

Please continue to share this project and provide your comments. MACE is better because of them. The above pledge level and commercial license are a result of such feedback.
